The first side getting a win against section favourites Lilydale, with 3 rinks getting up. 16/92-2/72
The second side went down to Vermont South. 0/64-18/102
The third side had a great win against Auburn. The rink of the day went to the rink of Bill Pask, Ian Scott, Gerda Middel, and Sumiko Miyazaki, who managed to score an impressive 41-5 win. 18/112-0/53
The fourth side went down to Port Melbourne. 0/53-18/117
